A powerful 4-part menopause kickstart series to help you feel fierce, strong, and back in control of your misbehaving hormones

Tired of feeling like a stranger in your own body and wondering:
“Is this just how it is now?”
That’s a hard NO and it’s just some tired-ass nonsense.
You are NOT broken, your body’s shifting gears - and no one bothered to give you the manual.
I get it.
I’ve been there - tried eating less, working out more, doing all the things the internet promised would help…
But I still felt like a foggy, cranky, bloated mess.
It wasn’t until I stopped battling my body and started actually working with it that everything started to click.
That’s why I created Taming the Meno Beast - a real-talk, no-pressure, entry-level group series for fierce women who want to feel clear, strong, and back in the damn driver’s seat.
This isn’t about perfection or punishing workouts. It’s about laying the groundwork - so menopause works for you, not against you - with less stress, more energy, and zero BS.
It’s your first step toward feeling like you again.
You’ve got this - and you don’t have to white-knuckle it alone anymore.

How to Build Habits That Stick

How to Build Habits That Stick

I created Taming the Meno Beast because I lived it.
After decades of being lean, active, plant-based, and full of energy, perimenopause knocked me on my ass. The hot flushes, joint pain, mood swings, and stubborn weight gain crept up on me - and nothing I used to do worked anymore. Even worse? I couldn’t find real, compassionate support that spoke to my experience - especially as a vegan woman with ADHD.
So I got to work. I dove deep into the science of menopause, strength training, plant-based nutrition, and mental wellness. I rebuilt my relationship with food and movement, and reconnected with my creativity through therapeutic art. I roller-skated through rage, lifted heavy things to reclaim my strength, and created a new vision of wellness - one that actually works for women like us.
That’s how Taming the Meno Beast was born - a low-barrier, high-impact way to build a strong foundation before stepping into deeper, personalized support.
Because midlife isn’t the end of your story. It’s a chance to create something better. And wellness? It’s an art.

Why is the program only $57? What’s the catch?
There isn’t one. I want this to be accessible - period. I’ve packed it with high-quality info, support, and tools you can use right away because I believe everyone deserves to feel better in their body without dropping hundreds of dollars to get started. This is a powerful first step that sets you up for success - whether you stop here or continue working with me in a more personalized way.
Do I need a 1:1 call before signing up?
No, but spots are limited, and this program works best when we build a safe, connected space with the right group energy. The call helps you make sure it’s the right fit for you, that you know exactly what to expect, and that you’re truly ready to get the most out of it. This isn’t just a training program - it’s a real community, and past participants have said the best part was hearing other women’s stories and realizing they weren’t alone.
Will I get personal support from you, Alix?
Yes! You can email me throughout the program and I do my best to reply personally. I also offer private coaching if you’d like one-on-one support - and this series is a great starting point to see if we’d work well together.
Is this program live or recorded?
The program is live on Zoom with small, interactive group sessions (under 10 people). Can’t make it live? No stress - recordings are available for 30 days so you won’t miss a thing.
Is this a weight loss program?
This is a health-first program. We don’t assume everyone wants to lose weight. But if weight loss is your goal, this program gives you the tools - education, movement, mindset, and nutrition - to support it in a realistic and sustainable way.
Do I have to be vegan to join?
Nope. Whether you're fully plant-based, veg-curious, or just trying to eat more plants, you're welcome here. I make it simple and practical - no pressure, no judgment.
I’m new to plant-based eating - will I be lost?
Not at all. I get that it can feel intimidating at first, but I break it down into easy-to-understand steps. We focus on nutrients, not perfection, and I’ll help you learn how to get what your body needs - without the overwhelm.
Are we doing workouts live?
No, the sessions are for education and support. You receive a sample strength training plan to use whenever you wish.
Do I need equipment for the workouts?
You can start with just your bodyweight, especially if you're a beginner. But if you want to progress - or you're not new to strength training - you’ll eventually want to use resistance like dumbbells, bands, or kettlebells. You’ll get a sample strength training plan based on your level that you can do at home or at the gym.
Is this for perimenopause, menopause, or post-menopause?
All of the above! If your hormones are shifting and your body feels different, this program is for you.
I have ADHD and struggle with “consistency”… will this work for me?
You’re my people. I have ADHD too, and I hate the word “consistency.” We focus on being persistent, flexible, determined but kind to ourselves instead. You’ll get doable steps, ADHD-friendly resources, and a little creative chaos in the mix.
Is this program only for women?
This program is for anyone with ovaries who is navigating perimenopause, menopause, or post-menopause. That includes cis women, trans folks, and non-binary people. If you’re dealing with menopause symptoms, you belong here. We strive to make this space inclusive, supportive, and respectful of all identities.
Is there a community or way to connect with others?
Absolutely. The live Zoom sessions are small and interactive, so you’ll get to connect with others going through the same things. You’re also invited to join my free Facebook group, Plant-Based and Menopause Strong, for bonus resources and community support.
What kind of materials will I receive?
You’ll get a digital workbook you can fill out online or print. You’ll also get cheat sheets, sample meal ideas, and a sample strength training plan based on your level.
Do I need a Zoom account to join?
Nope! Just click the link you’ll be sent - no login or account required.
How long do I have access to the materials?
Zoom session recordings are available for 30 days. All other digital resources are downloadable and yours to keep forever.
What’s your refund policy?
You can get a full refund if you cancel before the first session starts, or transfer into the next round. Because this is a low-cost, high-value program with downloadable materials, we don’t offer refunds once resources have been delivered. That said, if something unexpected comes up, we’re happy to move you into a future cohort or chat about other options.
When does the next session start?
A new Taming the Meno Beast cohort starts each month. Session 1 is usually held within the first week of the month and they run for 4 weeks. Dates and times for future sessions are determined based on the needs of each individual cohort.
Will you run this program again if I can’t make it this time?
Yes! I run the Taming the Meno Beast 4-session program regularily, so if you miss this round, you can always join the next one.
What’s the art therapy part all about?
I include optional therapeutic art as a self-care tool to help you process emotions, reduce stress, and reconnect with your creativity. You don’t need to be an artist. It’s about expression, not perfection - and it’s 100% optional.
Are there recipes or meal plans?
You’ll get a few simple plant-based recipes, snack ideas, and guidance for building balanced meals that support your hormones. This isn’t a strict meal plan - it’s flexible, sustainable, and made to help you build confidence in the kitchen.
What if I have an injury or chronic pain?
The sample strength plan includes beginner-friendly options and can be modified based on your needs. If you have an injury or chronic condition, I recommend speaking with your healthcare provider first - and I’m happy to offer general guidance within the program’s scope.
Do I have to roller-skate?
Haha - nope. That’s just my personal joy. You are not expected to strap on skates (unless you want to!). I encourage everyone to find their own version of fun movement - whatever gets you feeling alive in your body.
Still got questions?
Book a quick call with me and I’ll help you figure out if this is the right fit. No pressure, just clarity.
